[Shr-User] [SHR-U] How to Customize Buttons?

I would like to have one of the hardware buttons pop up a screen that let me:

1.  Activate the screen locker (that comes up when upper left button is 
    pressed now)
2.  Rotate the screen into landscape mode or back (using  xrandr?)
3.  Other cool things?
