[Shr-User] shr-testing upgrade

hello list. i have a very old shr-testing installed, at least 3-4 months old. I would like to upgrade it, in order to fix the multiple sms bug, which is quite critical because i now don't look each time when i receive an sms, thinking it is a duplicate and sometimes i see a new message only some hours (and duplicates) late.
Another really tiring bug is that the messages application don't receive new messages when it's open, i always have to close and reopen it, and it's slow as hell!

ok, done with the rant, i would like to know: have these 2 bugs been fixed in the new testing versions?
can i update doing a simple opkg update-upgrade without loosing half of the gui and half of the application (as usually happens?)
