This doesn't "smell" right to me.  I urge everyone to only give their
details directly to the police in this case, and not to a random ISP
email address...

Anyone know where this came from?  On a brief look round the web, I can
find plenty of examples (like this one) which try to look legitimate,
but nothing official which suggests it actually is.
